Nexbrick NCC Compliance

Nexbrick has been tested and documented for NCC compliance. We provide full technical documentation to support your building approval process.

AS/NZS 4284:2008

Facade Performance Testing

Full-scale tested for air infiltration, water penetration resistance, and structural performance under wind loading. Rated to 1.8 kPa serviceability wind pressure.

AS/NZS 1170.2

Wind Actions

System designed and tested in accordance with Australian wind loading requirements. Suitable for buildings up to 30 storeys.

AS 1170.4

Seismic Design

Compliant with seismic design requirements. In Melbourne (Z=0.08), calculated seismic force is approximately 0.04 kPa, well within system capacity.

AS 1530.1

Fire & Non-Combustibility

All system components (fired clay brick facings, galvanised steel rails and fixings) are non-combustible. Australian clay bricks are deemed non-combustible under the NCC.

AS/NZS 4455.1 + 4456

Masonry Units

All brick facings comply with AS/NZS 4455.1 requirements for masonry units. Testing procedures follow AS/NZS 4456 test methods.

NCC Vol. 1

National Construction Code

Compliance demonstrated via a Performance Solution pathway, supported by AS 4284 facade testing, project-specific engineering, and a detailed installation methodology and QA manual.

Made in Melbourne. Built for Australia.

Nexbrick rails are manufactured in Melbourne using Australian steel. Brick facings are sourced from local manufacturers including Austral, Nubrik, PGH, Island Block, Krause and Little Hampton.
